About Us
Yeguada Las Lindas is a small stud in the beautiful National Park of the Sierra de las Nieves mountain range in Andalucia. Monda is situated just a short drive above Marbella. It is only 40 minutes to Malaga Airport or the lakes at El Chorro and approx. 20 minutes to Marbella.
Linda Burns (Proprietor) has been involved with horses for over 50 years and after coming to Spain some 10 years ago, fell in love with the Spanish horse and decided to breed and supply quality rather than quantity for an ever growing demand for this very versatile equine.
Linda has drawn her knowledge from various sources over the years, including being a Judge of Miniatures and has purchased and produced Irish horses for various disciplines including eventing and driving. Also having had a large farm in Wales breeding Warmbloods mainly, but especially from her long-standing friend, Susan Bach of Furze Hill Farm, Frensham, Surrey, with whom they shared a common interest in the form of Danish Warmblood stallion Baron B, leading sire of dressage horses for 5 years running in the UK.
Linda is very much an advocate of natural horsemanship for all of the stock including foals, having gained her knowledge originally from 'greats' like Monty Roberts and in latter years Parelli and Clinton Anderson, hence her association with Joanna Heaton of Balanced Horsemanship (Britain) and several other natural horsemanship instructors in Spain.

We offer holidays and occasionally clinics and demonstrations so why not come and stay?........
Remember...
Horses everywhere
are more affected by the power of our example
than they ever are by the
example of our power!
Linda believes that mares are just as important as sires as they are normally only used for breeding purposes in Spain, but she aims to produce mares for competition fields also and starts all foals from birth with the fundamentals of love, language and leadership. All horses that are produced with this programme are ready for their future careers, whatever the discipline, being especially kind, willing and generous partners.
It is an easy relaxed progression from natural horsemanship training through to all competition fields especially the more complicated movements required for dressage.
As the Spanish horse does not as a rule, show 'mareish' symptoms when in season, on all fronts they are 'Muy Noble'. Most males are entire in Spain but gelding can be arranged before transport if required.
